In 2001 Boris was named one of People Magazine’s ’50 most beautiful people’.

Boris continued to star in such films as Sony Screen Gem’s ‘The Gospel’, Tyler Perry’s ‘Madea’s Family Reunion’, ‘All About Us’, and ‘Starship Troopers - Marauder’.

In April 2008 he made his Broadway debut as ‘Brick’ in the Tennessee Williams Classic ‘Cat on a hot tin roof’. He starred alongside the legendary James Earl Jones and Phylicia Rashad, as well as award winning actors Anika Noni Rose and Giancarlo Esposito.

In Septemebr 2009 Boris starred opposite Bruce Willis in the Disney blockbuster ‘Surrogates’.

Boris and his beautiful wife Nicole have two children, Sophie (3) and Nicolas (18 months). The Kodjoe family resides in Atlanta.

In 2008 Boris and Nicole established the Sophie's Voice Foundation in honor of their daughter Sophie who was diagnosed with Spina Bifida at birth. Their mission is to raise awareness about this most preventable birth defect and raise funds for research and surgical studies.
